It is a windy Saturday here in South Texas. Day Two of my two days off from work at a local newspaper. I usually do not blog on my days off. How many times must I repeat that fact? I was asked. There is the answer.
A news item caught my ear early Friday morning before the roosters on our ranch called us to breakfast. An internet porn star had been murdered in El Dorado, Kansas. The Golden One is the translation from Spanish. El Dorado. How messed up is that? The 18 year old college student led a secret life. Smut pays. Emily Sander was last seen leaving with a man who rented a motel room in the Golden City.
Large quantities of blood were found in the man’s room. Prime suspect.
Emily deserves JUSTICE. It does not matter what she did. She was a human being. A victim of a crime.
